Track Name: Branded
I scream but the walls won't listen
I scream louder but no one notices
I scream until my lungs cave in
But who cares?

"Klapperfeld" is an alternative cultural center in Frankfurt. The building itself was a prison for about 100 years. The last inmates were kept there in custody pending deportation. Besides hosting events like punk shows, providing a place for art and self-realisation, the people at "Klapperfeld" work up the building's past and visualise it from a critical point of view (through exhibitions, guided tours, etc). From a guided tour through the prison cells I still remember a writing on the wall written with a lighter: "I scream, but the walls won't listen. I scream louder." A display of injustice, that hopefully won't ever be forgiven or forgotten. Check out
Track Name: Empty-Handed
Constantly betraying us
We pay in our youth,
trusting in getting disbursed a future

But in the end we stand alone and empty-handed
Faced with the ruins of our ideals
Track Name: Black On Black
'Cause you deafened yourself
but you wouldn't have listened anyway
'Cause you scratched out your eyes
but you wouldn't have watched anyway

I write black on black
Track Name: Faded Greyscales
From my point of view
As far as I can see
Nothing seems fair

Taking part
weighs me down
on the floor

What used to be grey has all turned black

So if I tell you that I'm fine
That's a lie
